Apple just issued an emergency security alert today asking iPhone, iPad, and Mac Laptop users to update their devices immediately. The company uncovered a security vulnerability in their operating system that could allow hackers to take complete control of the devices.
Many people are currently using their devices, including their iPhones, iPads, and/or laptops to perform specific tasks. Some might be ordering online wherein they are keying in their bank accounts, and they are not aware that a hacker might already be lurking to steal their money.
By taking complete control of your apple device, hackers can monitor whatever you are doing on your device, like taking photos, doing video calls, or checking your social media accounts. Hackers can steal your accounts once they get their hands on your username and password.
Whenever you visit sites, Apple says that the flaws could make your device vulnerable to hackers watching over to steal your account or even your identity. The sites you visit might also be nothing more than a hacker’s den that looks so legit, yet the hackers are just waiting to control your device. What is scary is that you wouldn’t even have an idea that you are being watched. For all we know, it could be espionage, a spy, or a creepy person who just wants to see what you are doing privately.
So, as soon as you have finished reading this post, you should update your device(s) immediately to make sure that your device(s) will not come under the hacker’s control.
