If so, you have just found the right place!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Reading, memorizing, and practicing a word or two every day is one of the key ways to familiarize yourself with the English language.  So let us learn the most basic and common English words that are used in everyday conversation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:24px\"><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Nouns<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>1. People (plural)\/ Person (singular)<\/strong> &#8211; a human being<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>2. Man <\/strong>&#8211; a male human being<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>3. Woman<\/strong> &#8211; a female human being<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>4. Children (plural) \/ child (singular)<\/strong> &#8211; some use the word &#8220;kids&#8221; or a &#8220;kid&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>boy &#8211; <\/strong>a male child<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>girl<\/strong> &#8211; a female child<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>5. Day<\/strong> &#8211; usually refers to the portion of a given 24-hour day in which there is natural daylight, or it specifically relates to a given weekday<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>6. Night<\/strong> &#8211; usually refers to the portion of a given 24-hour day in which it is naturally dark (no daylight)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-flow wp-block-group-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><strong>7. Time<\/strong> &#8211; usually refers to time-of-day or the duration of a process or event<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>8. Thing<\/strong> &#8211; normally refers to an object in the generic sense <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>9. It <\/strong>&#8211; when you refer to an object or thing<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>4. They\/them\/those<\/strong> &#8211; when you refer to a group of people <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>5. Us \/ We<\/strong> &#8211; when you refer to a group of people you are with<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>6. You <\/strong>&#8211; when you refer to a person or group of people whom you are talking to <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"3-types-of-answers-to-a-categorical-question\" class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">3 Types of Answers to a Categorical Question<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>1. Yes <\/strong>&#8211; affirmative<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>2. No<\/strong> &#8211; negative<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>3. Maybe<\/strong> &#8211; not sure or haven&#8217;t decided yet<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"greetings\" class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Greetings<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>1. Hello or Hi<\/strong> &#8211; is the most common way to greet someone at any time of the day<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>2. Good morning<\/strong> &#8211; to greet someone or a group of people during the early of the day<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>3. Good Afternoon<\/strong> &#8211; to greet someone or a group of people at during the later part of the day<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>4. Good evening<\/strong> &#8211; to greet someone or a group when daytime is transitioning into nightime<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>5. Good day<\/strong> &#8211; normally used when you are about to leave or end a conversation during midday<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>6. Good night<\/strong> &#8211; is when you are about to leave or end a conversation at the end of a day or at hight<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>7. Goodbye or farewell<\/strong> &#8211; or sometimes &#8220;see you&#8221; when you expect to meet up again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>8. Thank you or Thanks<\/strong> &#8211; to show your appreciate for what they did or gave you.  It is often anticipated out of politeness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>9.<\/strong>  <strong>You are welcome<\/strong> &#8211; to convey that you were happy to do what you did for that person who said &#8220;thank you&#8221;.  It is usually considered an appropriate\/polite resonse to &#8220;thank you&#8221;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>10. Happy to meet you \/ glad to meet you<\/strong> &#8211; normally used when you are pleased with the opportunity to meet someone for the first time<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These are some basic words that you must learn to properly address a person during and after the conversation.
